Two casual and fine dining busy restaurants located in Margate NJ are seeking experienced outgoing professional staff to join our team for the upcoming season. All applicants must be reliable and eager for an upcoming busy summer season at the beach.
Positions are available full time, year round and part time seasonal positions, must be 18 years or older. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, seafood seven days a week, with indoor and outdoor seating, must be able to multitask and work as a team player.
Front of House:
Front of House Positions available for hire: experienced breakfast/lunch servers, experienced fine dining dinner servers, casual upbeat servers with experience in seafood, bartenders, food runners, bussers, and hosts.
Breakfast/Lunch Shift: (7am-3pm)
1 year of casual serving experience preferred, basic wine and alcohol knowledge.
Dinner Shift:(3pm-Close)
5 years fine dining experience preferred, knowledge of wine and alcohol.
Back of House Positions:
Experienced Cooks, prep cooks, shellfish shuckers, dishwashers, needed for two busy Restaurants located in Margate NJ.
Detail Description of Operations
Restaurant and Bar Serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner 7 days a week from 8AM-11PM.
Front of House:
Front of house duties
Bartender-
Serve food and drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) to customers, bus (clean) and reset tables, side work (rollups, cleaning, restocking, polishing silverware and glassware.)
Prepare all drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) for all front of house servers and customers. Liquor and Beer inventory, Glassware Inventory, Fruit and Garnish Preparation. Maintain a clean Restaurant Establishment.
Servers
Serve food and drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) to customers, bus (clean) and reset tables, side work (rollups, cleaning, restocking, polishing silverware and glassware.) Maintain a clean Restaurant Establishment.
Hosts-
Greet Customers, make reservations, Seat Customers at tables, present menus, answer phones, relay messages, update menus, coat check, maintain order of the restaurant floor, bus (clean) and reset tables, side work (rollups, cleaning, restocking, polishing silverware and glassware.) Maintain a clean Restaurant Establishment.
Bussers-
assist servers, serve bread and butter, refill water to customers, run food from kitchen, bus (clean) and reset tables, set up and breakdown of trash cans, stock ice bins, linen area, maintain a clean restaurant throughout service side work (rollups, cleaning, restocking, polishing silverware and glassware.) Maintain a clean Restaurant Establishment.
Food Runners
Expedite all food orders on the line with the kitchen, run all food out to customers according to food ticket, assist kitchen staff with prep work, restock condiments, maintain a clean cooking line, assist servers, serve bread and butter, refill water to customers, run food from kitchen, bus (clean) and reset tables, set up and breakdown of trash cans, stock ice bins, linen area, maintain a clean restaurant throughout service side work (rollups, cleaning, restocking, polishing silverware and glassware.)
Back of House
Cook-
Cook all food items according to orders (tickets) that are sent through Point of sale, food inventory and ordering, stocking, maintaining a clean line, preparation of all customer orders, handling customer requests for food items. Cleaning and breakdown of the back of house according to proper procedure. Maintain a clean Restaurant Establishment.
Dishwasher/Cleaner-
Clean all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots and pans, restock inventory, clean floors, bathrooms, walls, cooking line, refrigerators, sweep and mop entire restaurant at the beginning and end of all shifts, help lift boxes, clean outside area organize sheds, sidewalks, and trash area, power wash decks, and sidewalks.
Maintain a clean Restaurant Establishment.
Management
Management has all of the above duties listed, assist where needed at any position. Maintain office work (paperwork), update all menus and marketing, be present on the restaurant floor during service to handle customer requests and complaints, Book events and parties, assist with ordering and inventory.
