After hosting hundreds of weddings, we’ve noticed something... the couples who have the most fun aren’t necessarily the ones spending the most money.

1. The couple who actually eats dinner.
I know it sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how many couples spend months choosing a menu and then barely touch their food. Sit down, take a breather, and enjoy the meal together.

2. The couple who builds breathing room into the timeline. The happiest couples aren’t rushing from one thing to the next all day. They leave room for conversations, unexpected moments, and actually enjoying the wedding they’ve spent so much time planning.

3. The couple who trusts their vendors.
You hired professionals for a reason!! The couples having the most fun aren’t answering questions all day or worrying about every little detail. They trust their team and stay present.

4. The couple who makes time for each other.
This sounds simple, but it happens all the time. The day flies by, and before you know it, you’ve barely spent any time together. The couples who remember their wedding best usually find a few quiet moments to step away and take it all in.

5. The couple who plans for themselves.
Not for social media. Not for family expectations. Not for what everyone else thinks a wedding should look like. The weddings that feel the most joyful are usually the ones that feel the most personal and true to the couple themselves.

Trust us, nobody ever leaves a wedding saying, ‘I wish the napkins matched better.’ They remember how the day felt. And the couples who have the most fun are the ones who actually let themselves experience it.

If you’re looking for a venue where you can slow down, stay present, and celebrate with the people who matter most, we’d love to show you around Wildflower Estate.

Rainy day views aren’t so bad when they look like this…🌿🤍

One thing couples love about Stella’s Secret Garden is how private it feels. Surrounded by greenery and tucked away on the property, it’s the perfect ceremony space for smaller guest counts and couples looking for an intimate setting that doesn’t need much décor.

A few ceremony details couples often forget to practice at their wedding rehearsal:

• Exchanging rings
Confirm which hand and finger, and take a moment to practice so it feels natural.

• Where to look during the vows
It’s easy to focus on the officiant, but remembering to look at each other makes the moment feel more intimate.

• Your recessional or “just married” moment
If you’re planning a dip, kiss, or pause at the end of the aisle, practicing once helps with timing and comfort.

• The handoff at the aisle
Decide ahead of time if the exchange is a hug, handshake, or simple transition so it feels smooth.

• Passing the bouquet
A quick practice with your maid of honor avoids any awkward fumbling.

These small run-throughs help your ceremony feel relaxed, seamless, and fully present 💒💍

A gentle reminder for your guest list…

Here are a few habits that make a wedding day harder than it needs to be:

1. Stepping into the aisle for a phone photo.
Trust the professionals—you’ll get better photos without being in them.

2. Asking the couple for a selfie mid-reception.
Let them eat, breathe, and actually enjoy the moment.

3. Repeatedly asking when dinner is. It’s coming, and it’s worth the wait.

4. Hovering behind the photographer during portraits.
It throws off focus, timing, and where everyone’s looking.

5. Grabbing florals or décor for your own photos.
If it’s styled, it’s been placed with intention.

6. Talking through speeches.
Someone planned those words. Let them be heard.

7. Posting unflattering or unapproved photos.
Give the couple the chance to share their day first.

A beautiful guest experience goes both ways ✨

The calm before the reception 🤍

Tables set, florals in place, the newly renovated bar ready to serve, and the selfie station waiting for guests to make it their own. The quiet moments before the celebration begins are some of our favorites.

These are the moments our couples remember 🪻

A quick walk through the wildflower fields. A few minutes away from the crowd. A chance to soak it all in together.
When your ceremony, reception, and portrait locations are all on one property, your wedding day feels a little less rushed and a lot more intentional.

The morning of your wedding should be a sanctuary of peace, not a race against time. To ensure you walk down the aisle feeling centered and joyful, here are 6 common mistakes to avoid before the ceremony begins…

1- Avoid trying any brand new skincare products or risky breakfast choices. Today is about sticking to what your body knows and loves.

2- Even if the nerves are high do not skip a solid meal! You need real energy to sustain you through the long, emotional day ahead.

3- This is not the time for last-minute DIY or running errands. Delegate every task to your trusted circle; your only job is to be present.

4- Checking the forecast every 5 minutes won’t change the sky. Accept whatever the day brings and focus on the love waiting for you at the altar.

5- Steer clear of doomscrolling or any potential family drama. Surround yourself with music, laughter, and people who bring out your best energy.

6- Don’t forget to take a mindful pause. Close your eyes, breathe deep, and soak in all the realization that this is your day.
