Memorial Day weekend (May 22nd, 23rd, 24th & 25th this year) is always a very busy weekend for our little restaurant. So, I wanted to give a heads up to everyone that:

WE WILL BE OPEN Friday, the 22nd, BUT!
WILL BE CLOSED Saturday the 23rd
--due to our daughter getting married!!!!!

We already have a few orders of food that people are reserving and picking up on Friday in preparation for their weekend, so if you would like to do that too, we will be happy to help!

We are so saddened to hear that our restaurant's original Legendary Namesake, "Jay" of Jay's Bar-B-Que, has passed away. He started Jay's in 2000 at the same spot we are in today. Our whole design of the slow smoked meats that we are known for was all his idea to bring to this small town of Marble Hill. When he wanted to retire in 2017, we thought we had no choice but to buy the restaurant so that we could continue the tradition of what he started. So many people associate "Marble Hill and Jay's Bar-B-Que" as synonymous and it is all because of Jay.

Even after the sell, Jay still came to hang out with us often. We Love Him Dearly!! And as long as our doors are open Jay's name will carry on!

When we were in process of buying the business, and after the purchase, Jay stayed with us for 3 months, walking us through every way that he did things. He was SO HELPFUL in showing us everything we needed to do. One day I asked him why he was putting so much effort in to helping us and he answered, "because I want you to be successful." That was Jay. He always wanted the best for everyone who surrounded him and every one of his employees that worked for him.

We have Much Love for Lisa, Nicole, Jessica and Sam. Our thoughts and prayers are with you through this time of grief.

Thank you for everything, Jay! We will cherish you forever!

Credit Card Machine is up & running again!!!

Today, Wednesday March 25th, WE ARE OPEN but..... our Credit Card Machine decided to quit working. So, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that currently/today we are CASH ONLY!!

Our credit card machine company will be overnighting us a machine. Our Credit Card machine should be back up & running by tomorrow. I will keep you posted!
