ANNOUNCEMENT -- DOCKSIDE'S STATUS

A 1/23/2013 article in the Florida Keys Keynoter reported that the Dockside Bar & Grill (a.k.a. Roco's Dockside) had been closed since mid-December for "significant renovations." The floor is being rebuilt and new pilings will be put in to make the building safer. Co-owner Brian Sweeney said that "concrete had been poured improperly some 20 years ago."

Tony and Caitrin Piscetello, who had leased and managed the business for the past year, are no longer involved. Sweeney is talking to several new potential lessees. There is no target date for reopening.
