Tenisha, (aka Tiki), as a child became known as Tiki by her beloved Grandmother and decided as a tribute to her, she would name her first business Tiki's. Her love for cooking quality food gave her the idea to start catering and eventually open up her own Cafe. She takes pleasure in making sure that everything she cooks leaves her customers pleased and very satisfied.

Ordering for Sunday’s HeatWave meal closes tomorrow at noon. After noon, the kitchen is closed for negotiations. 😂

Meet The Sweets Niche—the part of Tiki’s Back In The Day that believes dinner is simply the opening act for dessert. 😂

These cakes and homemade ice cream were made and sold this past weekend, and yes…I cook the meal and make the dessert. I clearly don’t believe in resting. 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

💜 HEATWAVE POT PIE UPDATE 💜

Due to an issue with the packaging, I need to postpone this week’s frozen Chicken and Vegetable Pot Pies.

I want to make sure every HeatWave meal is packaged properly before it leaves my hands—and I’m not going to rush that part just to stay on schedule.

The pot pies are postponed, not canceled! 🥧 I’ll share the new ordering and pickup dates as soon as the packaging is worked out.

This week I’ve been working on kids’ lunches and suppers, individual and family-size frozen HeatWave Pot Pies, packaging, labels, menus and everything in between.

I’m building Tiki’s Back In The Day one idea—and apparently several food containers—at a time. 😂💜

The goal is to create good food that makes life a little easier for busy families.
