The Lookout Bar and Grill has been a family-owned Maple Grove gathering spot since 1958. We got our start when Bob Kinnan opened a small bar that sold 30¢ beers. Construction continues with phase two!

As we begin to wrap up the front entryway after many setbacks we begin the second phase of construction. Building the pull tab booths new location!

With this change I figured id share some history of the building. The Lounge as we call it today has been used for many different things over the years and we continue the tradition by changing it once again.

Pictured in the second image is Mike Kinnan (Current owner) standing just outside the same space in the 90s. At the time it was the original area for BOTH bathrooms. Yup you heard that right both mens and womens bathrooms which can be crazy to imagine today with the size of the room. Later in the 90's the bathrooms would then be redone into a game area.

Pictured in the third image is Abby (Mike the current owners daughter) around 2010 in what we called the "game room". The game room featured all sorts of games including a claw machine, darts and big buck hunter. Soon after this image pictured the room would become the lounge we know today. Featuring 4 tables, all having booths and calm blue lights just off the side the bar.

We look forward to showing off and seeing the new pull tab room that the Maple Grove Firefighters Relief Association will be moving over to!

Hey Neighbors!

We had this adorable girl wander up to enjoy the patio without her owner. If you are looking for her we handed her off to Maple grove police who took her over to PUPS. We would be happy to have her up again on Mondays but hopefully with her family this time.

It is absolutely gorgeous on the patio! I know where we will be tonight!☀️☀️🌴🌴

Chucker has been a huge part in helping out with many of our past golf tournament, fundraisers as well as helping out in the community.

Chuck is also a well known close friend to the Lookout family who loves cheering on the Vikings, greeting customers as they come in the door and an honorary manager as he’s always making sure everything’s running smoothly around here. If you or anyone you know would like to participate and help raise money it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
