Dirk's Farmhouse is now closed. The new operators are Brent and Teresa Boylan of Manti and the new name of the restaurant is Grandma Bert's Kitchen! Teresa was a cook at the Manti Temple and will be creating her unique menu based on her experience there. Please check out their site on Facebook.

It's Time to say Goodbye for Now

Dear Friends and Family of Dirk's Farmhouse Restaurant,

After over 10 years building great friendships and relationships, creating many wonderful memories, serving great food, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Dirk's Farmhouse Restaurant will not be reopening anytime soon.

If you were to ask me back in March 2020, when this pandemic started, I would never have guessed that this would be our reality! Because of the economic pressure during this unprecedented situation we have concluded that it is not cost effective to reopen and that it would be best to conserve our remaining resources and focus on our business the Manti Country Village Motel. This was not an easy decision to make especially after all of the hard work, long hours, and personal sacrifice we have made. Unfortunately we cannot proceed as we once were, nor can we continue to chase the new normal...or the next normal.

One thing is for sure, we remain grateful for all of the support we have received from you, our loyal friends and customers, and our amazing staff over the years! I am honored because of you!

To each of you, I wish you and yours much health and safety in these difficult times. Thank you for everything, the smiles, the laughter, the wonderful memories, the friendships but mostly for the opportunity to serve you over the past 10 years! I look forward to seeing a vibrant and alive future here in Manti and Sanpete County.

One of my favorite sayings is “Never Say Never”! It is with hope and faith that we will prevail!

A Farmhouse Family update:

We know you are anxiously awaiting our reopening as much as we are. We've been carefully considering all the aspects of reopening, and based on current trends in the industry and health department regulations, we've decided to postpone our reopening again. We'll be keeping a close eye on our situation as things develop, and we'll be sure to let you know as soon as we have a definite date down. Thank you for your continuing support. We can't wait to see you all again and hope that day is coming soon!

An Update for Our Farmhouse Family:

We've been anxiously awaiting the day that we can reopen, and paying close attention to the updates and guidelines set forth by the Health Department. While we've been given the green light to resume limited dine-in service, we believe it would be best to postpone reopening for your safety and comfort. Our tentative reopening date is June 1st. If anything changes we'll be sure to let you know.

Our doors will be closing tonight at 8pm. We are unsure when we will reopen. We have been so incredibly blessed to have a community like ours supporting us. We will keep you all updated of what food and produce we have available for sale, and when we will reopen. When, not if. Thank you for everything; we'll see you on the other side. As a local, family-owned, small business, we understand the importance of safety, cleanliness, and commitment to quality. We know you have a choice in where you decide to eat, and we appreciate you choosing Dirk’s. We’ve been hearing and seeing a lot about the COVID-19 outbreak and wanted to share what we’re doing to keep our staff, our families, and our community safe.

In order to prioritize all of our safety, we are:
• Enhancing and increasing our cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Removing self-serve condiments from tables
• Implementing additional hand-washing procedures for employees
• Adding a curbside pick-up option for to-go orders

We ask that you help us in our attempts at keeping all of us healthy and safe by practicing good hygiene on your end, and staying home if you are feeling under the weather. In addition to the afore-mentioned changes, we are also happy to bring your to-go orders to your vehicle if needed---just let us know that you want curbside pick-up when you’re ordering. And if you still want to support us, but are uncomfortable eating out or ordering to-go, please consider buying gift certificates to use at a later date. Everything helps when it comes to small businesses.

We know that the future is uncertain, but we also know what wonderful things we can accomplish when the community comes together. We can get through anything.

Our hours have changed!

Starting on Monday, 2/10, our hours will be as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Friday-Saturday: 8:00 am - 9:30 pm

You can still enjoy our delicious breakfast options on Fridays and Saturdays, but the rest of the week will be lunch/dinner only. We're sorry for any disappointment this brings, but we appreciate your continued support. We have exciting, new things planned and we can't wait to share them with you!
