We’ve been working hard to learn from the best in the business! ☕️

A huge thank you to The Coffee Keller for inviting us to their space and taking the time to show us the ropes and teach us all things coffee! From workflow and operations to all the little details that come together to create the perfect cup.

We are so grateful for the kindness and support that Chay Henle has shown us. From the moment we shared the news about The Village Play Cafe, they reached out personally to answer questions, offer guidance, and cheer us on every step of the way.

On Monday, June 1st, we get the keys to our space, which means we can officially announce our location. We are thrilled to be moving to 321 N. Riverfront Dr. in Old Town Mankato!

From the very beginning of this journey, we knew we wanted to be part of a community that supports local businesses and small business owners. That's what drew us to Old Town. We love the walkability, the character, and the vibrant culture the area has to offer.

We’re getting closer! At the end of the month, we’re hoping to get the keys and officially begin our build-out 🤩
Which brings us to one of the most important updates we’ve shared so far… to help keep costs low and continue building something special for our community, we’re looking for sponsors!

Are you, or someone you know, looking to make a meaningful impact? We have a limited number of sponsorship opportunities remaining and are currently seeking local businesses and community members to partner with us.
We’re also accepting gently loved toy donations to give items a second life. Little hands play hard, and this is a great way to reduce waste while keeping our space fresh, fun, and engaging.

This is a post I’ve been putting off… but it’s time to share. Yes, there will be a fee to play. In a perfect world, we would love to offer this space completely free to our community—but the reality is, there are bills to pay and costs to cover, and things add up quickly as a small business owner.

That said, we are working very hard to keep pricing as affordable as possible while still creating a safe, clean, and welcoming space for you and your littles.

We truly believe in what we’re building and in the value it will bring to our community—and we’re so grateful to have you along for the journey.
