A warm thank you goes out to this flock of regulars who stopped by last week to share birthday wishes. They’ve been knocking at my door since I opened in 2020.

Thank you Brian and Ginger (VHS ‘87) and their son Noah; Roger, Claran, and Lisa, heavily involved in the Manitowoc Theater scene); Kim and Hannah (Think Lakeshore Wind Ensemble and Marine Band as are Brian and Ginger and Noah), and Colleen, part of a women’s group that supports our Manitowoc / Two Rivers community.

Thank you Rod (many associate him with the lead in the band Dr Bombay) and and his long time sweetheart Linda who stopped by the Pub to wish me a happy birthday last week. Rod is also part of the band at Heart-O-Rama and you’ll frequently see him at PetSkull. Keeep ‘er Rockin’, Rod.

I just want to reach out to say “Thank you” to a loyal patron and my good friend Charlie. (You know who you are.) My evening wouldn’t have been the same without your witty commentary.

It was standing room only for these two debut performers, Kiana and Frances, last night at the Pub. Kiana performed about six weeks ago during Open Mic Night at the Pub, and I immediately knew I wanted to provide her with the opportunity for her own gig. Frances, on the other hand, wrote to me earlier in the summer asking for a time and place to sing. A small world it is. The two of them work at Pick n Save. They performed individually and threw in a few songs as a duet at the end. The audience responded with a beautiful standing ovation. And a special thanks goes out to Dennis Krall for opening up the event. The Pub’s next Open Mic Night is Oct 30.
