Hello all.
We've got a couple weeks under the belt now, and have learned a few nuances. We have a couple of changes to make (at least temporarily) while we get all four wheels firmly on the ground.
It has been crazy busy every day that we have been open so far. Consistently with few pauses to catch our breath. We have had to run (often to other cities) for supplies almost daily.
* We're going to close Mondays for now, for a much needed day to clean, prep and take inventory. It has been a whirlwind trying to keep a handle on stock levels. We don't like running out of things and need a little time each week when the food isn't flying, to do so. Serving 15 hours a day, seven days a week was perhaps a little optimistic.
* Until we get our service times streamlined, we aren't going to be able to take phone orders or online orders. The traffic has been cray, and we have had wait times longer than we'd like. We make most meals to-order (it's not fast food) and we still want to deliver hot and fresh. Taking this step will let us get things running a little more smoothly. Then we'll get back with you on phone and online ordering as well as delivery. First things first !
* We have three different universes under the Scooby-dome, including the food service, the microbar, and the store. We think it's prudent to have slightly different schedules.
Beginning Tuesday, the kitchen will be open from 7a - 8p with breakfast ending at 10:30. We have been serving breakfast later than that, but it has caused some delay in getting lunch on the tracks. There may be a limited lunch menu from 10:30 to noon while we transition. We hope you understand .. serving two menus during a rush period is a little stressful 🤯. The retail store and microbar will stay open until at least 9, traffic dependant until 10 or later if you're here ! We will have a limited later night "bar menu" after 8 and some grab-n-go too !
