Chicago native Michael Cegielski moved to New Orleans Louisiana in August of 2000. One of the reasons he moved here is because of his burning passion for the region's food! Honeypot Boilers can cater your event or

party for 10-200 people. Our boils include crawfish, corn, potato's, sausage, mushrooms, garlic, artichoke's, brussel sprouts, asparagus, lemons, oranges, pineapple, and a few shrimp for lagniappe! Spicy, garlicky, and citrusy are the hallmarks of our boils!

All got booked this week. 3 or 4 other dates are booked as well. Some May weekends are open and some April are open.

It's a very good season. Product is beautiful. Crawfish are large and after Easter we should see a big price drop on live product. The product is very nice this year. April really is prime. Shells start to get hard towards the end of May. Still delicious at that time of course and probably best price is at that time.

All of the rain this summer will lead to a BEAUTIFUL crawfish season!

I know its August and were starting to think football and pumpkin spice but dont forget even further down is Mardi Gras, Jazzfest, and that lovely sound of water boiling and that tempting smell of crawfish seasoning wafting through the air.

This was such an amazing season for crawfish lovers. Great product and plentiful. Its never too early to book your boil for 2026 especially if you are looking for a Jazzfest weekend or French Quarter Fest weekend boil!

Live crawfish are 3.75 a lb. on average. Great prices for mid February. With such a horrible season last year we are in for a banger this year.

He said it is going to be a HUGE year with tons of availability and great prices.

Prices are high but people want crawfish! One of the best places I buy live product from is down to 4.99 per pound. Still crazy high but they are coming down!

Will probably hold at 5 through Easter.

Right now Good Friday, Easter, and Mothers Day are booked.
