Let’s Geaux!! Vote Covington High!!

COVINGTON, LA — Covington High School is making headlines, and now the entire community has an opportunity to help the Lions bring home an incredible prize!

Covington High School has advanced to the South Division finals of T-Mobile's Friday Night 5G Lights competition after successfully winning both the $5,000 and $25,000 rounds. Now, the school is competing for an extraordinary prize package that includes $250,000, a weight room renovation, and an additional $5,000 student leadership award.

But to take the next step toward winning, Covington High School needs the support of the entire community.

From October 8 through October 25, supporters can vote for Covington High School once per day. Every vote is an opportunity to help the school advance in the competition and bring valuable resources to its students and athletic programs.

"This is about so much more than winning a competition. It's about coming together as a community and showing our students that we believe in them, support them, and want to see them succeed. Covington has always been a community that rallies behind its own, and this is another opportunity to do something extraordinary for our kids."

Community members, local businesses, alumni, parents, students, and supporters throughout St. Tammany Parish and beyond are encouraged to participate. Organizers are asking everyone to make voting part of their daily routine and help spread the word through social media, workplaces, schools, and community organizations.

HOW TO HELP COVINGTON HIGH SCHOOL WIN
Vote daily: October 8–25, 2026

Spread the word: Share the voting link with family, friends, coworkers, and social media followers.

Set a reminder: Voting is allowed once per day, so everyday counts!
The potential impact of this prize package extends well beyond the football field. These resources could provide meaningful opportunities for students, strengthen athletic facilities, and leave a lasting legacy for future generations of Covington Lions.

Covington High School has already proven it can compete. Now it's time for the community to help take the Lions across the finish line.
One Town. One School. One Big Opportunity.
Vote Covington. Vote Every Day. Go Lions!
