Now that the dust has settled from the block party, I feel like we should say some words!! We cooked around 400 burgers and 200 hot dogs!
1st off, in no particular order, thank you so much to everyone who came out and spent time with us! As a business owner, and father of four, I know how valuable time is so I dont take it lightly you spent your time with us! I hope you and your family had a great time and enjoyed the food, games and company. Also, thanks for everyone who donated to a great hockey team and their upcoming season!
2nd, thanks for everyone who participated in pur caramel eating contest! We all enjoyed a laugh and I hope you weren't to miserable after all that dough started expanding in your stomachs
3rd, thank you Century Patriots Girls Hockey for coming out and volunteering your time to help out the event! It was a ton of fun seeing you all interact with each other and seeing you all smile and laughing! You all are great group of girls! I hope it wasnt to bad of a volunteering experience! Good luck on your upcoming season! We were able to raise over 800 dollars in free will donations! We will leave the buckets out for a few more days in hopes we'll get to the 1000 dollar full match!!
4th, our awesome staff who showed up to help cook, serve and clean up! Paige Opp and Kalie Glatt who helped plan for organizing and keeping me on track as you all know that is not one of my strengths haha!
5th, thanks Bismarck Bobcats Hockey for sending some guys and scratch to help out at the event. It was fun watching the guys race through the obstacle course, but my favorite was scratch tie dying! Hopefully we can keep this awesome relationship going for a long time! Good luck on your upcoming season and I look forward to some awesome hockey!
5th, the businesses who helped us out! Thanks Dakota inflatable games for setting up and most importantly tearing down the bouncy houses! That looks like a ton of work! Thanks BisMan Bricks for the Legos for our Lego table! Cloverdale Foods Company thanks for donating the hot dogs as no north dakota event would be complete with out the famous red franks!
Also, thanks to all the great businesses on the strip! Many of us made it through some rough construction and hopefully the other end goes fast and doesnt interrupt the rest of you to badly!
