THIS IS A REMINDER BECAUSE LABOR DAY IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER…….

PSA & FYI: I usually don’t go on here and defend myself (business) bc social media is the worst place ever for negativity…. You are NEVER going to make EVERYONE happy!!!!! PERIOD!!! So with that being said…. Last Monday (8/24) I had several employees call out sick (there was/is some sort of bug going around). Also that day my daughter had a softball game 2 1/2 hours away! Since I was already short staffed and discussed the situation with the employees that was at work I (THE OWNER OF DUCKS TROLLEY since 2012 ) decided to close 3 hours early to go to my daughter’s game. Keep in mind I am here 8am to 5 pm 6 days a week. I don’t just close up bc I don’t want to work. We have time off where we are closed ( holidays vacation & such) but those days have been carved in stone for over 40 years and most everyone that eats at Duck’s Trolley and are regular customers knows when those days are. And if there ever is a time when something happens and I do need/have to close I post it on FB immediately and put a sign on the door and I try to leave message on the answering machine letting the public know we are closed. Sorry for the long post but I felt like you should know why I was closed early last Monday and especially to the lady that decided to bash my business and employees by her Google review last week. She’s not a regular although I know exactly who she is bc it’s my place to know my customers…. She only drops in about once a month and orders the exact same thing every time, yet she wants to complain bc I was closing early that particular day… her google review is in comments.
