🇺🇸 A day to remember. A day to serve. A day to unite.
What an honor to participate in 9/11 Day in New York City last night for our Owner/Operator Matt alongside fellow Chick-fil-A Operators, and leaders from our restaurant and across the Tri-State area.
Together, we spent the evening packing meals for neighbors facing hunger—working fast, working together, and having a lot of fun while doing something that mattered.
This day was especially meaningful to Matt personally. Having spent 12 years serving as a Firefighter/EMT in the years following September 11, he has always had a deep appreciation for the courage and sacrifice of our first responders and for the incredible unity that followed that day.
Ending the evening with a visit to the 9/11 Memorial was a powerful reminder that 25 years later, “Never Forget” is about more than remembering what happened. It’s remembering how we responded—with courage, sacrifice, unity, and service to one another.
Proud to represent Chick-fil-A, grateful to serve alongside some incredible people, and thankful for the opportunity to honor those we lost by continuing to care for others.
