GOJIRA Ramen & Sushi is a fun, fast-paced Japanese restaurant in Mammoth Lakes, CA. We’re currently looking for a Prep Cook to join our kitchen. Both full-time and part-time positions available.
Responsibilities
Our prep cooks will help the kitchen to make delicious ramen, sushi, boba tea, crepes and other menu items following our standards.
Must possess proactive problem-solving skills and motivation to adapt quickly in an express restaurant environment. (How many hats can you wear?)
Understand and actively enforce food safety handling and sanitation standards.
Must possess a professional and helpful attitude with coworkers, owners, managers and guests in a variety of situations, at all times.
Help the crew when weekly shipments arrive.
Skills Required
Restaurant kitchen experience is required, and an interest in Japanese cuisine and popular culture is preferred.
HS diploma or higher.
Pay
$15 to $22 per hour plus tips, depending on experience and responsibilities.
