October 16th marks 35 years of Filippo's Pizza in Mahomet, and it's hard to put into words what that really means.

Thirty five years of early mornings, late nights, flour covered clothes, burned hands, and holidays spent behind the counter instead of at the table. Thirty five years of showing up, even when we were exhausted, because this wasn't just a business, it was our family's dream.

Looking back, every long hour and every sacrifice was worth it.

To Mahomet and all of the surrounding communities, thank you for believing in us. You've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, little league wins, and Friday night traditions with us. You've watched generations grow up, and somehow, you've let us become part of your family's story.

For 35 years, you've turned customers into friends, friends into family, and a little pizza shop into something bigger than we ever imagined.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making Filippo's Pizza a dream come true. We can't wait to celebrate 35 years with you on October 16th, and here's to many more years around the table together. ❤️🍕

Next month we hit 35 years.

We’ve always been the underdog. Just a family working hard, putting in the hours, and trying to do things the right way. So being voted Best Italian Food in Champaign County and Top 3 Pizza honestly means a lot to me.

It makes all those late nights and all the sacrifices feel like they mattered.

To everyone who has supported my family and this restaurant over the years thank you. Seriously. Your support has meant more to my family than I could ever explain. You’ve helped keep something my family poured our lives into alive for 35 years. Every meal, every visit, every kind word, every vote, it all matters to us.

We wouldn’t be here without you, and I’ll never take that for granted.
