As Christians, Christ should be the center of our lives. He suffered and died for us, so that we could have eternal life. We will suffer for Him as believers on this earth, which should be counted as an honor because He paid the ultimate price for us. We have to be bold and proclaim the gospel and stand up for Christ, always. All of Christ for all of life.

God loves His children. As born sinners and now Christians, it can be hard to accept and understand His love because of guilt and shame at times. However, God’s word tells us over and over again that His love for us is never-ending. We see this most clearly in that He sent His only Son to die on the cross for us to cover all our sin.

True joy, which can only be acquired through Jesus Christ, is everlasting. Happiness is temporary and can waver depending on the second of the day and circumstances, but the joy that we receive in Christ is eternal. As Christians, having the joy of Christ present in our family life changes everything. When days are hard, the Lord will be the one to carry us through them as a family and provide the joy needed to persevere.

Children are such a blessing from God. Teaching them God’s word and about Jesus should come from the home. Providing a loving home and pointing them to Christ consistently are some of the most important parts of life that will make home a safe and attractive place for any child.

God created us to have emotions that we feel deeply in a variety of ways. However, no matter the situation, we are not to let our emotions run us. It is good and healthy to cry at times and grieve our losses; however, taking control of those emotions and grabbing hold of God’s truths are vital in this life. Let God’s word ground you and help your perspective to be focused on Him. Remember the blessings from God that you still have on this earth. Persevere and finish your race well. Our eternal rewards are worth it.
