Sad news ahead:

We are unfortunately going to have to close Cafe Meraki a lot sooner than expected. I’m not going to go into a whole lot of detail but just know, if I could stay open longer I 1000% would. So, with that being said, tomorrow is going to be the last day that we will be open. I know that it is last minute and so sudden & I am so sorry for that.

As far as gift certificates go, if you are not able to use it by tomorrow, please reach out to me via private message and we can arrange to meet to get your money back.

I will be posting things for sale over the weekend, so stay tuned for that. Again, thank you to everyone that showed their endless love and support to us over the last year.

We’re baaaackkk!! We’ve missed you all & we are so excited to see everyone back this week! 🫶🏼 We are sorry to anyone that we upset by being closed last week but between weather and general illness among staff, I felt it was best for everyone to stay home, stay safe, & get well!

Emotional post ahead…

I would like to begin by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us. We truly appreciate each and every one of you and recognize that we would not have come this far without your unwavering support.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the upcoming closure of Cafe Meraki in April. The challenges of operating a business in today's economy have proven to be incredibly difficult. Without the additional income from our jobs outside of the cafe, sustaining our operations has become unsustainable.

Our official last day of business will be April 19th, 2024. I wanted to ensure that those who have purchased gift certificates have ample time to redeem them before we close our doors.

I want to end this post by putting an emphasis on how important it is to support your local businesses. Even if all you can do is share a post or share with your friends, family, and colleagues about these businesses, you have no idea how far just the word of mouth can go. I also want to encourage people to follow their dreams even if you don’t succeed in the end. I have learned SO much & made so many new friends in this journey. I will never regret the time, hard work, & occasional tears that came along with owning a restaurant.
