In a democracy, the voters decide. Today, the Virginia Supreme Court chose to silence them.
Just weeks ago, Virginians approved a temporary redistricting referendum to keep extremist lawmakers accountable. The NAACP proudly mobilized across the Commonwealth, contacting over 150,000 Black voters to help secure this victory.
By overturning this measure, the Court has rejected the clear will of the people.
