It was someone special’s birthday today! Our guests are the best! Big thank you to a special guy who made his amazing fiancé’s birthday today by asking us to make this incredible birthday creation for her. Come in and try a brownie sundae waffle this weekend. You won’t be sorry.

This cheerful fellow travelled all the way from South Carolina to visit us at The Hop! We sent him off with a belly full of tasty veggie and Swiss scramble and a homemade biscuit and soup to go to share. Always a pleasure to see you, Steve! Thanks for hopping by! And big thank you to our new friend at the counter for humoring us by taking a pic of this reunion while waiting for his Apple Cinnamon French Toast 😂

One of our diner family members reminded us that we moved into the diner three years ago today. You may recall that we didn’t open until nearly a year later. And we weren’t even done yet!’ Here’s a shot of the dining room when we were working. Our family did most all of the work you’ve seen. From painting, to flooring, to refinishing furniture and the classic knotty pine walls. It was a labor of love, to be sure. We are so proud to be able to share it with you all, and even more grateful that you all hop in to visit. Here’s to three years of our family loving this diner. Big thanks to you all, and our amazing team, for making it all worth it ❤️ 💪 🤩

We got the message loud and clear! You are really loving coming in to see us on weekends! Starting this weekend, we are staffing up to accommodate the increase in traffic to cut down wait times for tables, and ensure our hoppy team can give you the best possible experience.
