I want to address the hurtful comment overheard at our stand at the Market June 13th, and apologize directly to anyone offended by it, as well as the entire community.
The remark made was said to me privately. While it wasn't directed to a specific person or meant to be intentionally hurtful, it was totally unacceptable. I will not tolerate that in my business and I'm dealing with it promptly.
As owner, I take full responsibility and there will be changes made, so something like this doesn't happen again.
I have been at the Market for over 40 years and I have never had a complaint. I have always treated all of my customers with kindness and respect and I have received the same in return.
The reason I'm still here at 74 is because I love what I do and the people I serve—especially my wonderful, devoted customers. Thank you for your support, the smiles, the hugs, and the love that has spanned over three and even four generations.
