Congrats Doug. We’ll hold a good thought for the next two weeks that those scores hold up. 
A busy day at the Pete as Doug Leikness, Madison,WI took the lead at the Petersen Classic today. He shot an impressive 1663 to move just ahead of John Kelley, Clinton TWSP, MI who shot 1656 earlier this year. Doug had 6 games over 200, including a final game 242. Where he had the front 7, before having a lane breakdown and having to finish on the breakdown pair.
Squad Organizer Scott Erickson, Sun Prairie, WI put together an impressive squad of bowlers with 4 bowlers moving into the top 10 in the standings. Joining Doug are Christopher Gibbons, Madison, WI -1616, Collin Krachey, Madison, WI - 1615 and Brent Ritchie, Verona, WI - 1598. With 19 bowlers over 1400, including 8 over 1500, their squad also took the lead in the Pete with a pin count of 45,196, taking the lead from Shawn Lavender’s squad that bowled a 44,765 yesterday.
