Dumpling Haus

Jenny here! A little housekeeping before I share my next steps and some memories from our last week 🙂 Turns out 15 years means a lot of stuff to find new homes!

Get a piece of our history — we're selling our artwork, including the infamous produce art by our daughter Fei-Fei (artist/DJ/Producer), and our menu chalkboards. We'd love to see them go to a good home. If you've already made an offer, please email us — I lost your info, oops! 😅

We're also selling restaurant equipment: prep coolers, tables, chairs, bars, kitchenware, and more.

Email us to make an offer or stay up to date with my next adventures 🙂

Links in the comments. More from me soon when I finish closing up shop.

Thank you ❤ Jenny & William

Jenny here. Today is our last day ❤️

I truly did not expect this crazy response from all of you these past few weeks! Lines down the block every night, staying up till 1AM to make more dumplings (because y'all keep selling me out).

I feel like a dumpling super hero 🥟 taking selfies with everyone, being on News 3 Now / Channel 3000 & Channel 27 news, the WI State Journal, and even getting a letter from Congressman Mark Pocan!

I'm forever grateful. I didn't think so many people cared this much. I'll miss seeing all of you the most. You've been my family for 15 yrs.

But this isn't goodbye forever.

It's hello to new exciting adventures. Should I write a cookbook? Teach workshops? Hold private dinners? What would you like to see :)

My dream was to share my childhood food with Madison. I promise to keep sharing my joy of food with all of you.

Let's make this last day one to remember.

Love, Jenny & William ❤️

My dumplings made it to Congress 😂🥟
Never in a million years did I think we would be recognized by Congress! Thank you Representative for this amazing honor. Madison, we love you ❤️ Jenny

“Congratulations on fifteen remarkable years of owning and operating Dumpling Haus, and on your well-earned retirement. Your dedication to sharing the food and traditions you grew up with has enriched the culinary community of Madison.

Operating a business is anything but a small undertaking, and I recognize that your small business was vital to our community’s vibrance and culture. Since 2011, Dumpling Haus enhanced Wisconsin’s culinary landscape and strengthened our local economy.

Thank you for the joy you have shared with Madison for so many years. Again, I congratulate you on your successful careers in the culinary industry and wish you both happiness and fulfillment as you begin this next chapter.

— Mark Pocan, Member of Congress”
