There’s no decent way of saying this but,
Famous Mike’s is closed permanently, effective immediately. We’re sorry to be the bearer of bad news. We want you all to know that we appreciate every last one of you who came in, dined with us, told us your stories, gave us your time, and genuinely cared: we appreciate you. You’re the ones who got us through the past 8 years or so. We couldn’t have done it without you. We know Dad appreciates you all too.

Home made Blueberry Cobbler with a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream. Limited stock!

Also just wanted to let y’all know, next weekend is Memorial Day weekend, so we’re all gonna take a lil vacation. We will be closed the 22nd through the 25th. Friday-Monday. We’ll see y’all back on Tuesday to return to the regularly scheduled program.

You guys remember the pork cutlet sandwich we did back in October?
We haven’t forgotten about it since, and it is now a permanent menu item.
It is a little different this time, so just to clarify;

Fried pork cutlet, vinegar slaw w/ pickled red onion and dill aioli on a sesame seed bun.

We can’t stop eating this one ourselves, so come get one before we eat all our own stock. (please)

Just an update guys and gals;
As some of you already know, we’ve changed the menu around a bit, not breakfast, so don’t go getting crazy on us. We’ve minimized the lunch menu to focus on quality over quantity. We hope y’all understand and give us your honest opinion.

With that being said, our collards recipe has been upgraded (in our humble opinion). Come in, try a bowl and sit at one of the new booths.
