Macon Pride is counting down to Pride in the Park on Saturday, September 26th, from 2 PM–8 PM in Cherry Street Plaza and trust us, you don’t want to miss it. This year’s festival is designed to be joyful, welcoming, and accessible for everyone in our community.
From 2–3 PM, we’ll host our dedicated Low‑Sensory Hour, offering a calmer environment with softer music, reduced volume, and lighter foot traffic to support easier movement. This intentional block creates space for attendees who benefit from a gentler atmosphere to enjoy Pride in a way that feels comfortable, supportive, and fully inclusive. Sensory‑safe spaces will also be available throughout the entire event at The Tubman African American Museum.
Across the plaza, you’ll find an afternoon full of celebration:
- Live music, drag performances, and DJ beats from DJ B3 on the Tangerine Summer Memorial Stage
- Local vendors offering Pride gear, treats, and unique finds
- Food trucks serving festival favorites
- Community Art installations and a family‑friendly Kids Zone
And when the sun sets, the celebration continues. Join us for the After-party from 8:30 PM–10 PM at the Tubman African American Museum, featuring live entertainment from Quitman Alexander — the perfect way to close out the night.
Grab your friends, bring your family, and let’s make this Pride Festival one to remember. Macon Pride is ready to celebrate with you.
