🍁Fall Clean Up Day🍁

October 3, 2026 | 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. | Lyons Royalton Fire
All residents in Royalton Township and the Village of Lyons are included for this refuse drop off day. ARS Refuse will have dumpsters placed behind the firehall for disposal of items.​

🛏️ HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
Furniture, TVs, Mattresses, Box Springs, etc. are acceptable. All appliances must be certified Freon Free.

🪏 LAWN and GARDEN
Mowers - rototillers - swing sets, etc. are acceptable. Liquids must be drained.

🌿 NO YARD WASTE
No branches, no leaves, no grass. Yard waste will not be accepted at the landfill.

🪫NO HAZARDOUS WASTE
No batteries, pesticides, liquid paint, oils, fuels, gas tanks, thinners, fertilizers. **Dried paint is acceptable as long as lid is off paint can.**

🛞 NO TIRES OR CAR PARTS
Tires will not be accepted at the landfill.

🛢️BARRELS
Empty barrels only; bagged ashes or barrels full of ashes will NOT be accepted.

🧱 CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL -- NO CONCRETE or CONCRETE BLOCKS
No Drywall, dirt, stones, ashes, sod, blacktop, construction items or demolition materials. Material must fit into container without going over fill line.

💧NO TYPE OF BAGGED TRASH, LIQUID, SEMI LIQUID, OR SEMI SOLIDS ARE ACCEPTABLE

Over the past couple of years, we’ve been fortunate to receive several donations of Memorial Trees in honor and memory of loved ones.

We truly appreciate everyone who has donated. These beautiful trees add so much to our Park and provide a lasting tribute to those remembered. ❤️

🚨 Attention Park Visitors & Parents 🚨

Over the past two weeks, we have had multiple incidents of vandalism in the park restrooms. Toilets and sinks have been intentionally clogged with sand and other materials, and water has been left running until it overflowed. These actions have resulted in damage to the facilities and unnecessary repair and cleanup costs for the Village.

We are asking parents to please speak with their children about respecting public property. Our park facilities are provided for everyone to enjoy, and repeated misuse affects the entire community.

We have worked hard to keep the restrooms open and available 24/7 for families, park visitors, and especially those with young children. However, if these incidents continue, we may have no choice but to close the restroom facilities and rely solely on portable toilets. This is not the outcome we want, but we cannot continue to absorb the costs of repairing and replacing damaged fixtures.

We appreciate the community’s help in keeping our park clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. If you see vandalism or suspicious activity, please report it to Village staff.

A huge thank you to Kathie Brock for taking care of our Memorial Day Parade and doing such an amazing job organizing everything! Your hard work and dedication helped make the day so special for our community. 🇺🇸

Thank you as well to everyone who came out to participate, support, and watch the parade. It was wonderful to see our community come together to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙
