The Harvest Festival of Ales and La**rs is this Saturday, September 19, up at Hill Farmstead in Greensboro Bend, and it is one of the biggest weekends the Kingdom gets. We are proud to be one of its three lodging partners again. Our packages went in July and the festival is sold out, so thank you, Kingdom.
Here is the part nobody plans. Come up Friday instead of Saturday and you get a Kingdom Trails ride out of the deal, straight from our door, in the best riding week of the year.
Then there is Sunday, which is the one everybody misses. The mistake is driving home Sunday morning. Saturday belongs to Hill Farmstead. Sunday belongs to the Kingdom: quiet trails, 27 holes of disc golf across the fields on Darling Hill, Heaven's Bench for the view down the valley, and then a table on the west-facing deck as the light goes long across the valley.
And here is the part locals already know. Edward, Hill Farmstead's Vermont pale ale, is here every day of the year, and it is our best seller by a wide margin. Lawson's Sip of Sunshine is always here too. The two b**rs people drive to Vermont hunting for, both on Darling Hill, all year, no line.
The leaves are just starting, too. Green and gold in the valley, real color on the high ground, Lake Willoughby 26 minutes up the road and Burke Mountain 8.
You do not have to be staying with us for any of it. The whole weekend plan is here: https://www.wildflowerinn.com/harvest-festival-of-ales-and-lagers-2026-guide
