20+ years of legal work, rigorous training and a wide range of experiences prepared me to serve the citizens of Angelina County as District Judge.
In 1999, I had the honor of being selected, while in law school, to serve an internship in the office of a United States Federal Judge. Many law students seek such appointments, but few are chosen. This was an impactful experience, because I was able to watch some of the best attorneys in America argue motions in court and try cases to a verdict.
In 2001, I was selected to work for a Texas State Representative during the 77th Texas Legislative Session. This gave me the chance to learn how our laws in Texas are created and passed by the Texas Legislature and then signed by the Texas Governor.
These are just two opportunities that increased my knowledge of legal matters, helping me gain experience to better serve my clients and the cause of justice. Which is why today, in 2026, I'm asking for your vote to serve Angelina County as 217th District Judge.
