As a family business through and through, Stringer's Lufkin Bar B Q has been passed down over three generations since we first opened our doors in 1950. Our business and our town may have changed over the years, but our commitment to offering folks good food and great service has always remained the same. Situated in the heart of town, we're a true Lufkin landmark, and we couldn't be more proud of

it. We love seeing people delight in our food, whether it's a family dinner here at the restaurant or a large catered event, and we're always looking for ways to improve the experience for our guests. At the end of the day, we love people and we love BBQ, and we hope you'll join us here to enjoy a little bit of both.

We would like to honor Charlie Kirk and what he stood for by having this mural painted on the back side (facing Timberland) of Lufkin Bar-B-Q. It will cost 15k. The painter said that some of her clients have had community support for their project.

WOW! What a day!
Paul and I want to thank our Lord Jesus Christ for his favor. He saw us through a really big day, though tired, we are grateful.

Thank you to our community! You showed up and waited patiently to be served and checked out. Many of you left kind posts and cheered us on! You truly made us feel loved and we send a heartfelt thank you to Lufkin and surrounding areas!

We want to give a huge shout out to THE BEST TEAM!! You ROCKED it today! We would not have been able to serve so many guests without each one of you! Thank you to Paul's mom and sister who jumped into action too! Paul and I appreciate your hard work and dedication. Well done!

10 years ago LBBQ celebrated its 65th birthday with a car show, give aways, and cake. We were asked if we were going to host another event this year since LBBQ turned 75. We said no, it's just too much work (at least 3 months of planning).

Strange as it may seem, things began to fall into place 2 days ago. July 9th- we find out that the PETA Hell on Wheels truck is coming to LBBQ. We did not believe it, but it was verified on their website.
July 10th- our new LBBQ shirts with new 75 Years and Still Smoking design were picked up.
July 11th- we "rocked and rolled" as Papa would say!!

By all accounts, it was a surprise birthday party and our customers gave us the biggest gift possible, their support!

We do not know if we'll see 85, 95, or even 100, but we do know LBBQ didn't make it to 75 without God, family, friends, and neighbors! We love you and thank you!!!
