I haven’t read the book, but this cake was so fun to make! Was given a few inspo photos and then I just went to town lol! Loved all the cute edible images, gold splatter, and bright vibrant colors!

Absolutely loved everything about this Quince cake from a few weeks ago! They were even kind enough to put me in the Lamesa newspaper! I love when my clients love their cakes just as much as I do! I have a love hate relationship with fondant work, but I knew this cake would not give the same effect if I didn’t do fondant flowers on it. The patches and purples and gold made this cake so fun and whimsical!

If you don’t already follow me on TikTok make sure to head on over there, I have a whole video of this cake. simplydecadentbakerylbk
I would love to get to at least 1,000 followers before the end of the year and I’m almost there! I’m trying really hard to get better at posting so I can reach my goal.

Such a fun cake and it matched the invite perfectly! Butterflies, flowers, rainbows, and of course I couldn’t forget the sprinkles!

Recovery is coming along, I’m a little restless because I’m used to always working but other than that I’m doing good. I am going to try and get to some emails and text today. Just a reminder I do not have any availability for custom orders until after the 20th and I am very limited due to doctor restrictions.

Thank you to everyone that continues to checking in on me and support the sugar shack while I’m out. Also a huge shout out to my friends at Desert Rose Cheesecakery and Jimenez y Friends for supplying food this weekend! It was very much appreciated, my son was happy to not have to cook! I have 3 other people that have helped me out tremendously with food and gift cards and I hope y’all really do know how grateful we are!

The sugar shack is open early today! Plenty of sweet treats to pick from! Come grab some treats before the game!

First birthday rodeo! Such a cute and fun design! All buttercream decorated cake with hand piped on buttercream detail! I love drawing on cakes like this, something so relaxing about it.

My cord for my ring light broke a couple weeks ago, so I don’t have the greatest of photos but I do have some photos! Loved this cute strawberry cake with all buttercream details!

The sugar shack will be open again today at 2pm. If I have to close early due to weather I will keep you updated here. We have plenty of mini cakes, key lime bars, blueberry bars, and cookies! Full menu, hours, and address can be found on the website.

Good morning! Just a reminder the sugar shack will be open this afternoon at 2pm. The full menu, hours, and address can be found on my website under the sugar shack tab.

I did just post my custom cake deposit form on the website under the online ordering tab. This form is good for if you know you want a cake from me for a future date, but you don’t know a design or any details yet. You can fill out this form and pay a $40 non refundable deposit and I will get you placed on my calendar. All details just have to figured out 2 weeks before the date.

I know I keep repeating myself but I also know not everyone sees all my post, but just a reminder I am not taking any custom orders until after at least the 20th. If I feel better after a couple weeks of recovery and I think I can take on more I will. Thank y’all for all the love and support!
