The kitchen Crawl is always so much fun! I loved seeing everyone today, great weather great drinks and great food, isn’t that what October is all about?

I have a rule about celery: if I’m serving it, I’m stringing it.

The tiny, pale yellow pieces in the center? Those go straight in my mouth with a little salt. That’s my snack. The bigger stalks are beautiful for flavoring a broth. But these middle stalks? Once you pull the tough strings, they’re tender and perfect for my clam chowder.

Here’s my little trick: I use a oyster tool to catch the strings and pull them all the way down. A knife tends to cut through them. And look at this pile—from three bundle of celery! I don’t want those strings in a beautiful spoonful of chowder.

Chopped, blended, or served whole: take a minute to string your celery. It’s one of those tiny chef moves that makes the finished dish feel next level.

My happy place is flour in the air, fresh pasta on the table, and practicing for Food Network some day! ✨🍝

Wake yourself up.

Remind yourself who you are.
Remind yourself what God placed inside you.
Then look yourself in the eye and say:

I’m one of those ones.
What I create is different.
What I carry is special.
And I was never called to blend in.

Every plate. Every detail. Every impossible idea brought to life—it all carries a piece of my purpose.

So on this Sunday morning, I’m not shrinking, second-guessing, or waiting for permission. I’m waking up the gift, trusting the calling, and walking boldly into everything God created me to do.

I’m one of those ones.
And if you needed the reminder today—so are you. ✨
