Sometimes we run out of pork for Family Meal.
It's on purpose.
You have to understand that we don't make much in the way of money off of this deal.
Some of you would ask, "then why do this deal if you aren't making money on it?"
Well... It's more of an exposure thing for us. We get to showcase to people some of our most popular items for a low risk opportunity to try us.
So... We fire off 120lbs of pork every week because that's the pill we can swallow financially. But it's still worth it to us when we get a few new people to try us out or give us another chance if we've failed them before.

Sometimes I'll greet the door and people will say, "It smells great in here."
First of all, I love that. Secondly, inside the restaurant, I'm kinda nose blind unless it's the smell of someone forgetting a timer on bacon or cornbread.
But a few smells in the restaurant really hit me.
One, the smell of BBQ when I pull into the parking lot in the morning. Two, the smell of our Carrot Cake in the oven. It is so unbelievably pleasant.

I don't think I talk enough about our Honey Chipotle sauce. It's super craveable. It's great on tenders, great on wings ...

They had quadrupled in cost.
Things mellowed. Of course, they'll never be the cost they once were but we're still able to offer them half off every Wednesday starting at 4
