Today was one of those days! As you might guess, there are some days on the Ice Cream Truck that it just feels like a job. Some of those hot days recently were miserable, and it was hard to find much joy in what we were doing. However, today was different. It was one of those days where I sensed the blessings of God … that tender reminder that He has given me this wonderful opportunity! We started with a visit to a new neighborhood that we had been invited to go visit. The people were so friendly and generous and I was able to tell a little bit of our story to a group of them. We then went by invitation to a butterfly release of a dear family that had lost a special-needs daughter. It was such a touching event and we felt so honored to share treats with the friends and family after the butterfly release. We ended the day by stopping by one of our nearby favorite neighborhoods. It is always fun seeing some of our Ice Cream Truck little friends wave frantically to be sure we stop at their house and get excited to get one of our treats!
