The bright sunshine and warm weather has us in good spirits over here , and we're not just talking about the liquor!! Our fantastic bartender Stacy has decided to design and feature a new cocktail that is perfect for the patio on a day like this. We would like to introduce you to....the Summer Sky!!

Available today only, this cocktail is light, bright, and oh so refreshing. It features Van Gogh Açai-Blueberry Vodka, house made sweet-n-sour mix, blue curaçao, and topped off with lemon lime soda. Stop in today to see Stacy and grab one of these delicious drinks before they're gone!!

The clouds have parted, the heavens are rejoicing and singing the arrival of Angel's Envy Ice Cider Finished Rye Whiskey!!!

This is the fourth release in the Angel's Envy Cellar Collection and at 107 proof this rye really delivers a unique taste experience that is remincient of fall temperatures, bonfires, and the harvest season. With all the peppery goodness that rye whiskeys offer, there is also a mingling of cinnamon, brown sugar, and of course APPLE!!

This rye is aged for seven years in new charred American oak and then finished in ice cider casks, made from French oak, for an additional 364 days. The barrels used are from Vermont’s Eden Specialty Ciders. Ice cider is kind of like ice wine, a sweet, dessert-style cider made from late-season Northern Spy apples. It is made by fermenting the juice extracted after freezing, concentrating the sugars in the process.

It's time for our Sunday Spotlight!! The Sunday Spotlight is a chance for our bartenders to showcase one of their favorite bourbons and tell us what makes it special. This week's Spotlight has been chosen by our bartender David!!!

Michter's US☆1 Limited Release Barrel Strength Bourbon

David has chosen this particular bourbon for our first Sunday Spotlight because of his love for the Michter's line of products and high proof bourbons! He says that although it may be a high proof (112.8 proof!!), it drinks like an 85 proof bourbon. It goes down smooth and easy, yet doesn't give you that familiar, warm "Kentucky Hug" as it settles in. Even though a cocktail featuring it is an option, it's best enjoyed neat or on the rocks. David calls it a true "Bourbon drinkers bourbon" and says that it is an absolute must try!!
