Sherry and Rebecca recently traveled to Charleston for the FAB Conference, a gathering designed to connect, empower, and champion women in the food and beverage industry.

One of the highlights was learning from an incredible lineup of women who shared practical insights on leadership, hospitality, and building strong businesses. We were especially inspired by conversations featuring Kelly Jacques (Ayu Bake House ), Elizabeth Tilton (Oyster Sunday), Molly Irani (Chai Pani, Botiwalla by Chai Pani - Asheville, Spicewalla ), Corrie Wang (Jackrabbitfilly), and Jen Hidinger-Kendrick (Giving Kitchen).

We’re grateful for opportunities to learn from industry leaders, connect with fellow food professionals, and bring fresh ideas back to Farm to Fork!

Let’s be honest… no matter how much space you have, guests always end up gathering in the kitchen.

So why not make it the centerpiece of the party?

For this private birthday celebration, we transformed the kitchen island into an abundant grazing table featuring local and artisan ingredients, including Capriole Goat Cheese from Southern Indiana, cheeses from Sweet Grass Dairy family farm in Georgia, Blue Dog Bakery & Café bread, and Farm to Fork’s made-from-scratch dips, spreads, and pickled vegetables.

The result? A beautiful first impression, a natural gathering place, and a conversation starter that kept guests coming back throughout the evening!

A beautiful evening, a milestone birthday, and a table full of seasonal flavors. ✨

We recently had the honor of helping celebrate a 50th birthday surrounded by lush greenery, candlelight, and the warmth of friends and family gathered under a tent on a perfect Kentucky evening.

Guests enjoyed a grazing table overflowing with local favorites, passed hors d’oeuvres, fresh spring salads, and a family-style dinner featuring lemon-herb roasted chicken, mushroom ragù over crispy polenta cakes, farro salad with spring peas and feta, and vibrant seasonal vegetables.

The gorgeous decor was the work of I&M Company, with support from Hazelfield Farm, The Rental Depot, In Good Company Rentals and All Occassions Event Rental.

Simple. Elegant. Memorable. Just the way celebrations should be. 🌿🥂

A little peek at life lately... 🦉☕💻🐦

Recently fledge Barred Owlet sighting in my friend's back yard, the best latte in Louisville at Foko, coffee beans roasted by Ithmah Coffee Roaster, birding adventures in Cave Hill Cemetary with Justin, an unfortunate encounter between my MacBook and water (the rice trick gave its best shot), and a beautiful evening at Waterfront Botanical Gardens catering the Live Beyond event for UofL Health Trauma Center Survivors.

Some days are spent in the kitchen, some in the garden, some watching birds, and some unexpectedly shopping for a new laptop. Grateful for all of it. ❤️

A truly magical evening around the table. ✨

This private dinner party was filled with beautiful details, incredible local ingredients, thoughtful tablescapes by Boston’s Floral & Tablescaping, and the kind of slow spring evening we wish we could bottle up forever. We even spotted a tiny fawn tucked into the landscaping as guests arrived.

The menu celebrated the season with ingredients from producers we love, including Black Hawk Reserve Wagyu Beef Tenderloin, Southern Sweeties strawberries from Somerset, Kentucky, and rhubarb from Littman Family Farms in Indiana.

From Ratatouille Bruschetta and Pickled Shrimp to Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp for dessert, every course felt like spring on a plate. Grateful to create evenings like this alongside such talented local partners. 💚
