It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you all...
I have decided to close Niko’s . There were many components to my decision but none of them were you ... my loyal, loving customers. I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL for the love and support you all provided.
Almost 2 years ago, we were broken hearted as a family and a community watching Niko fight a courageous battle, it only seemed healing and right to open up a business in his honor and a lifelong dream of my family. I have NO regrets !!! I would do it all over again if given the opportunity.
I would like to thank my son Marcus, you are an amazing, loyal son. You have proven that when life gets hard... you go harder! You stood strong beside me with my crazy idea, and self-taught ( well your dad showed you almost everything ) how to perfect and finesse the quality of our food. You showed up EVERY single day for almost the past 2 years... never giving up on me .. my vision .. or Niko.
I love you VERY much !!
To my husband, who tried to convince me ( ok encourage me ) to keep going. You believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Your love and passion for food and work ethic are insurmountable. You taught us everything we know. This was your dream .. and with the courage given to me from our fearless nephew ... we made it a REALITY !
And to my family and friends that worked endlessly beside us all ( you know who you are ) showed up, laughed, cried and scrubbed walls. I am GRATEFUL for you. You made this journey unforgettable.
Finally to God and Niko, you have been my driving force EVERY SINGLE DAY 🙏🏼💙💗
Please continue to pray for us as we navigate through this transition .
I love you all
XoXo
