Julia Mancilla has a little story to be known. Being born in Tampico, MX.

in 1952, Julia migrated to Corpus Christi, TX. at only three months old. At age 11, she started her first job at Coney Island Restaurant (1963) in Corpus Christi as a dishwasher. Then in 1966 Julia and her family moved to Los Fresnos in which she began to work for Frankie’s Restaurant (1968), Dairy Mart (1970), and Romeros Gulf Restaurant (1972). Throughout in Los Fresnos, Julia worked for the Los

Fresnos School Cafeteria, Silverwoods Restaurant (1982), Palmdale Village Trailer Park(1984), and in 1986 she began to work for Fina’s Restaurant (1987) and Texican Restaurant(1989, both at this location) until 1991 , when she was given the opportunity to finally open up her own business (Julia’s Restaurant) which still strives to bring in great customers just like yourself. Julia knew that with hard work and dedication, any dream can be fulfilled. It’s not about being fancy, just trying to offer a great meal at a fair price. So come on in, have a seat and relax while we provide our service to you. From Julia and our great staff at Julia’s Restaurant, we would like to thank you all for making this place a great success and will continue to provide you with good customer service in a small town with a great Mexican taste. Julia’s Restaurant is a family owned and operated business established in 1991.
