I have a favor to ask and it's totally selfish. As you may (or may not) know, I do quite a lot of giveaways, which I do NOT need to do. I do it out of the kindness of my heart and in an attempt to encourage people to find my site and follow along or to have followers open my emails and click through to my site (my current giveaway.) I feel that I'd rather do giveaways than pay for advertising.
That said, I don't understand what comes over people when they win a giveaway prize or gift card and either don't respond, or if they do respond it's just sending their address, no thank you, or "I'm so happy I won!" Many times I never hear from that reader ever again. đ§ And then someone who won an apron sent me a thank you card with a little gift inside, but others who have won prizes worth over $250 didn't even say "I got it." đ
So here's my request: if you do happen to ever win something, could you please just fake being excited that you won? Could you also just let me know when you receive it? No thank you is necessary, just an acknowledgment will do. THANK YOU!
