Thirty five years. 🚭

Today I told a friend something I never thought I’d be able to say…

ā€œI quit smoking after 35 years.ā€

People ask me how I did it. My answer is simple: I put God first.

The more I committed to going to church, strengthening my faith, and surrendering my struggles to God, the less control ci******es had over my life. What I couldn’t overcome on my own, God gave me the strength to overcome.

This journey reminded me that real change starts from within. When you put God first, He can break chains you thought would never be broken.

If you’re fighting a battle today, don’t give up. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep moving forward. With God, nothing is impossible.

All glory goes to God. šŸ™ā¤ļø

Settling this once and for all. Are you a folder, or are you wrong?

Look, I love you all, but watching someone attack a beautiful, crispy crust with cutlery breaks my heart. Pizza is street food! The crust is your handle!

Let’s hear it in the comments: Is eating pizza with a knife and fork a red flag, or am I overreacting?

Last night I had dinner at The Basin in Montrose. My bill came to $62. I paid with a $100 bill and, without realizing it in the moment, was mistakenly given $72 in change.

At first, it felt like nothing—just another transaction, another ordinary night. But later, when I sat with it, I couldn’t ignore the quiet unease that began to grow in me. I had been given $34 that wasn’t mine, and even though no one else seemed to know, I did.

As someone who believes deeply in God and attends church every Sunday, I went to church this morning carrying that $34 with me—not just in my pocket, but on my conscience. It weighed more than it should have. Every moment of worship felt shadowed by the same persistent thought: I need to make this right.

Today, I went back and returned it. It may seem small to some, easily dismissed or forgotten, but integrity has never been about the size of the mistake—it’s about the condition of the heart when you choose what is right, especially when no one is watching.

The moment I handed it back, something in me softened. The tension I had been carrying all day finally released, as if I could breathe fully again. What I thought was just $34 had become a burden far heavier than its value—and letting it go brought a peace I didn’t realize I was missing.

Peace, I’ve learned, doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from an honest heart finally being at rest.

I don’t have expectations anymore—I have standards.

Respect my time.
Match my energy.
Keep your promises.
Be consistent.

These aren’t demands. They’re the foundation of every meaningful relationship, friendship, and opportunity.

If you can’t bring respect, effort, and integrity, don’t expect a seat at my table.

Standards aren’t walls—they’re self-respect. šŸ’Æ

Every rep clears the mind. Every drop of sweat releases stress. Every workout builds more than muscle—it builds discipline, confidence, and resilience.

Some people go to escape. Others go to become who they’re meant to be.

Keep showing up. Your mind and body will thank you.

When everyone else doubts you, keep showing up.
When the weight feels impossible, lift anyway.
Every rep, every setback, every victory starts with one decision:

Believe in yourself.
