When I began Swork 21 years ago, little did I know that this neglected corner space would soon become a bustling community spot for coffee enthusiasts and local entrepreneurs also dreaming to make their mark.
Naturally, each of us grow and evolve, and so do our goals and mission. Having achieved my goal of creating Eagle Rock’s first coffee bar, I am ready to pass the baton to competent hands.
I am thrilled to announce that Swork Coffee, Inc. will transfer ownership on Monday, August 1st, 2022. The new owners, Arthur and Alan, founders of Unincorporated Coffee Roasters will bring their methodology, enthusiasm and vision to build upon the foundation that Swork has established as a cornerstone for coffee in our beautiful, expanding community.
Arthur and Alan are a brilliant and dynamic duo and I know you will appreciate them as much as I do. Their passion for curating unique micro-blends of coffee—all roasted locally—as well as crafting delicious coffee beverages is sure to please your stellar palates. Please welcome them into the Eagle Rock community with open arms and a love of great coffee. Meet Arthur and Alan in person on Friday, July 29th, between the hours of 9 am and 11 am . Naturally, we are gearing up for a seamless transition and they anticipate only a few days of closure in the first week of August so that existing Swork employees are trained on their menu and operations.
With that said, it has been my deepest privilege to bring great coffee to the Eagle Rock community. I thank you for your loyalty, patronage and more importantly, for being an integral part of this ever-evolving space throughout the years.
