Debido a la demanda de este delicioso plato por parte de nuestros compatriotas y como no tenemos la posibilidad de atenderles en el restaurante como antes, ya que El Caserío cerró sus puertas, hemos decidido ofrecerles este riquísimo plato tradicional de la Semana Santa en Ecuador.

Queremos invitar a todos nuestros clientes y la comunidad ecuatoriana que nos ha acompañado en El Caserío por 40 años, a celebrar el fin de año con nosotros este viernes 31 de diciembre, en esta ocasión es una fiesta con una combinación de alegría y tristeza. Tristeza porque será la última noche que compartamos juntos en este lugar que ya es historia, una historia de sabor, de alegría, de vivencias, de esfuerzo, de creatividad, y muchas cosas más!! Alegría porque estamos siempre positivos frente a los nuevos retos y oportunidades que nos trae el nuevo año y el cierre de esta etapa, porque cada puerta que se cierra se convierte en una puerta nueva que se abre para todos nosotros.

We want to invite all our clients and the Ecuadorian community that has accompanied us in El Caserío for 40 years, to celebrate the end of the year with us, this Friday, December 31. This time it is a celebration with a combination of joy and sadness. Sadness because it will be the last night that we share together in this place that is already history, a story of flavor, joy, experiences, effort, creativity, and many more things !! Joy because we are always positive in the face of the new challenges and opportunities that the new year brings us and the closing of this stage, because each door that closes becomes a new door that opens for all of us.

“My first visit after years of driving by this hidden gem. The parking in the back was convenient. A large sign directs you to it. The restaurant itself is charming in an old school Latinesque way. Now to the food. The bread they bring is extraordinary along with a very spicy salsa. Delicious burn on the tongue. I ordered a dish I had never experienced. Potatoe pancakes covered in a fried egg along with a generous piece of carne asada. The small salad on the platter was an exquisite after thought as I was focused on the carne asada. The salad was perfect with the remnants of egg and potatoe. My guest had the lengua which he loved. He stated that it was exactly as his mother had prepared him as a child. Another friend enjoyed the lasagna. Clearly Italian is as good as the Ecuadorian cusine. We ate on the patio which was an eclectic mix of indoor and outdoor decor. Over all I loved El Caserio and my only regret is not having frequented this locale sooner.”
