It's been hard being in multiple places at once, so we're trying something new! It's been an idea for awhile with bigger plans, potentially! We're introducing Grab-and-Go prepacked dumplings! We need to work out the logistics, but it's looking like it will be refrigerated packs for now. I can work on having a Display warmer or something. Like a proper convenience store Grab & Go!

Pop-up Logistics… the most painful aspect of pop-ups outside from having agonizingly slow markets is definitely the Loading and Unloading…

It’s like groundhog day… For each pop-up, I usually take on average 2 hrs to load my car, 1.5 hrs to unload car & setup booth, 2 hrs to pack up car, 1 hr to unload car at the end of the day. That’s 4 times per event! 😵

I manage to get my pop-up setup to all fit in my Camry… and I’m telling y’all, my setup is pretty elaborate. There are…

- 2 large folding tables
- Large tote box with all the admin supplies like POS Square stand, ticket printer, tool box, brand banners
- Large Cambro “hot” box
- Folding bench
- 10’ x 10’ canopy tent
- Disposable plates and utensils
- Cooking utensils
- Steamer
- 2 burner stove
- 5g water cooler
- Pot of oil
- Propane tank
- 2 5g Buckets
- Electric Cooler or my dogs in safety carriers
- Miscellaneous items

Loading and unloading is nearly its own full time job! And I did all that today and wasn’t able to get to the pop-up and a reasonable hour on top of a missing stove leg…

We were actually going to start implementing a bartering system as an alternative to spending money.
Will likely have to work out the kinks, but INOMONI is now open to trading services / skills / products that align.
For example, if you are a mechanic, you can trade services for our food or expertise (there’s a lot of skills that can be shared, just gotta discuss amongst ourselves).
We can work it out. Just wanted to throw it out there. Feel free to DM to chat more.
