The People of Pickles: From Busser to General Manager
Beginning as a teenager volunteering in his community, Jamel discovered a passion for serving others that naturally led him into the restaurant industry as a busser.
Through years of hands-on experience, he learned every aspect of restaurant operations, steadily working his way to his new role as General Manager.
Known for his calm, steady leadership style, he leads by example with a focus on service, teamwork and helping others succeed rather than seeking the spotlight. Jamel believes there's always an opportunity to learn, grow and improve—both personally and professionally.
Outside of work, he's an automotive enthusiast who enjoys working with his hands, whether repairing vehicles, building projects or bringing new ideas to life. His problem-solving mindset, strong work ethic and attention to detail carry over into every aspect of his leadership, reflecting the same pride and craftsmanship he brings to his hobbies.
