Leatherback Roasters turns five at the end of this month. We’re counting down with a trip down memory lane.
Year One! We started a business and made it official. We taught ourselves how to roast in our garage with lots of trial and error. We started selling coffee online and at local markets.
Year Two! We got the keys to our new space, renovated it over the course of the year, moved in, and launched our first wholesale partnerships!
Year Three! We hosted our first public cupping at the roastery to celebrate opening with forty or so friends. We started partnering with local craft coffee shops and became a featured roaster at a shop Grace grew up going to!
Year Four! We continued to dig our roots deep with meaningful partnerships with trusted importers and producers.
Year Five! We’ve been preparing to grow with new electric installations and a new roaster with a larger capacity on the way! Trying to live in the moment and enjoy it without only looking ahead.
