Christmas in July is coming to One Room Coffee!

Join us for a cozy evening filled with Christmas movies, festive drinks, comfort food, and holiday music.

Our large community table will be set up for anyone who'd like to create while the movie plays. Bring your crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing, journals, planning pages, sketchbook, painting, puzzles, coloring or whatever you're working on! We'll also have a few activities and supplies available if you'd just like to join in.

Introducing: Oldventures ☕❤️

When you own a small business together, people often assume you spend all your time connecting and making memories.

The truth? Most days, we're making coffee, solving problems, placing orders, washing dishes, answering questions, and putting out little fires. We work side by side every day, but sometimes work can crowd out the simple joy of just being together.

A few years ago, we decided to be more intentional about creating time for each other. We started what we call "Oldventures" — little adventures that help us reconnect, relieve stress, and enjoy life outside of the daily grind.

The rules are simple: once or twice a week, we pick something from our Oldventures list and do it together. Sometimes it's a walk around town, a visit to the farmer's market, playing cards, stargazing, reading together, exploring a new place, or attending a local festival. Nothing extravagant. Just intentional time together.

To keep ourselves accountable, we even made this poster to remind us that the best moments don't have to be big moments.

What we've discovered is that these small adventures have made a big difference. They've helped us stay connected, laugh more, and remember that we're partners in life—not just partners in business.

And honestly, some of our favorite Oldventures happen right here in the coffee shop. A shared pastry before opening, a board game, a good book, listen to music, or simply sitting down together with a great cup of coffee after a busy day.

If you're feeling stretched thin by work, family, responsibilities, or just life in general, maybe an Oldventure is exactly what you need.
