Okay so I wasn’t planning on this.

But so many of you have been asking when the stand is opening back up, and then I saw the weather for tomorrow and that was it. 65 degrees in the morning before it climbs into the high 80s. That’s the kind of morning that deserves a warm churro in one hand and a cold churro latte in the other.

So I’m getting up early and baking it all fresh. Here’s what’s going out:

Churros
Conchas
Mini chocolate chip cookies
Jumbo banana chocolate chip muffins
Polvorones
La Abuelita Latte, iced
Churro Latte, iced
Agua de pepino

Open at 7AM. Self serve, honor system, come as you are, pajamas absolutely welcome. Everything is small batch and it’s out there until it’s sold out, and once it’s gone that’s it.

Come see me. Or don’t come see me and just grab your treats, that’s the beauty of it.

Look for the little pink stand on Broadway, between 15th and 16th. If it’s pink, it’s mine.

I made these on a whim this week and now I’m a little attached.

The oatmeal cream pies were supposed to be a one-time thing. The La Abuelita latte was me messing around at 11pm. That’s kind of how the porch stand works, it’s the grab-and-go little sister to the cake side, so I get to experiment out there in a way I can’t with a custom order.

Which also means these are drops. Here now, maybe not next week.

I’ve been going back and forth on what to try next. Conchas? Sourdough? Something else entirely? Tell me what you’d actually drive over for and I’m writing it down.

Okay, if you’ve been following along for the cakes, you’re in for something a little different. This week we quietly started a self-serve treat stand right on our porch. No ordering, no waiting, just grab what looks good and scan to pay. Cookies, churros, cinnamon rolls, flan, whatever we’ve got fresh that day.

Think of it as the grab-and-go little sister to what we do here, same love, just a lot less formal. You’ll find us on Broadway, between 15th & 16th, here in Logansport. Hablo español, so stop by and say hi in whichever language feels right.

We’re still finding our rhythm on exact days and hours, so keep an eye on our Stories for what’s stocked and when. And if you’re already dreaming up something bigger for your next celebration, that’s still very much what we do best.
