Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos — Hand-battered, fresh-fried shrimp in warm corn tortillas, tossed in our signature Bang Bang sauce, topped with lime-cumin purple slaw, cotija, and fresh pico de gallo, served over Spanish rice. $16

In the chaos the family’s cats fled. One was found days later with burns on all four paws and is recovering after days of vet care. Margo and her daughter are still dealing with smoke inhalation.

Milpa has worked at Island Market for years. Mark owned it once too, bought it when it was about to close and kept it running. That history is why we’re showing up for her.

Friday, August 21st we’re hosting a Latin Night fundraiser at The Cache Bar in Milpa and Margo’s name. 100% of food sales go straight to Margo and her family. No cover. VIP tables available. DJ Pandamonium spinning reggaeton, cumbia, Latin house, and bachata from 9 PM.
