TRICK OR TREAT IS BACK!

Starting today, our infamously over-the-top fall favorite, Trick or Treat, is back at BOTH of our scoop shops!

If you’ve never tried it, picture this. You get home from trick-or-treating, dump your candy bag on the floor, and admire your haul. If you grew up in my generation, that bag was probably a dirty pillowcase that had already made two or three trips around the neighborhood that night.

Now imagine taking that entire pile of candy and turning it into ice cream.

That’s exactly what we did.

We loaded our Silver Cloud Vanilla ice cream with Heath bars, Snickers, Kit Kats, Twix bars, M&Ms, Reese’s Pieces, and Nestlé Crunch bars.

Yep. ALL of that. In one ridiculously good ice cream flavor.

Halloween is still a few weeks away, but there’s no reason to wait to get your candy fix.

Come on down to either shop and get yourself a scoop of Trick or Treat!

We made the trip to Bruce Fiegel Apiaries in Appleton and came back with a full restock of their amazing local honey for our Lockport shop!

And we also restocked something that has been a big hit: our Lake Effect laser engraved sundae spoons!

These aren’t your ordinary ice cream spoons. Each spoon is individually laser engraved with the Lake Effect Ice Cream logo and snowflake design, making them a fun keepsake. We specifically chose extra heavy-duty spoons, so they won’t bend when you’re digging into that hard-frozen ice cream!

They’re perfect for enjoying a pint at home and make a great little gift for the ice cream lover in your life.

Both the honey and the Lake Effect sundae spoons are fully restocked and available now at our Lockport shop.

Something spooky is coming to Lake Effect Ice Cream!

The Paranormal Walks are back for another spooky season, and this year marks their 12th year starting right outside Lake Effect on Canal Street.

Join us for five nights of haunted history and paranormal stories through Lockport:

Saturday, October 31

All tours begin at 7 PM outside Lake Effect on Canal Street.

We teamed up with our friends at Paula’s Donuts to create a brand-new fall flavor!

Sweet with just a little tartness, our apple ice cream is packed with pieces of Paula’s cinnamon fry cakes. It’s the perfect taste of fall!

Back to school is definitely a stressful time.

Getting used to new schedules, new routines, and all the changes that come with getting back into the swing of things can be a lot, both at school and at home.

Erik and I are both teachers, so we absolutely understand how stressful that changeover can be.

So Lake Effect is giving all students a little bonus. A little something to make an ice cream break from the stress a whole lot better.

HOURS UPDATE AT LAKE EFFECT!

Labor Day is here, and that means we’re getting ready to switch things up for fall!

Our Labor Day hours will be:

LAKE EFFECT HERTEL AVE
12 PM–9 PM

LAKE EFFECT LOCKPORT
12 PM–9 PM

Starting September 8th, we’ll be switching to our FALL HOURS at both locations:

Monday–Friday: 4 PM–9 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 12 PM–9 PM

And while we’re changing our hours, we’re also getting ready for some of our favorite FALL FLAVORS! All the cozy flavors you’ve been waiting for are on the way.

Summer may be winding down, but there’s still plenty of ice cream to eat!
