To our amazing friends, customers, and community —
On Friday evening we experienced an electrical issue at Mama Mia’s Livonia that unfortunately caused smoke damage throughout the restaurant.
It was a scary situation, but we are incredibly grateful that everyone is safe, that is the main thing. Thank you to our staff, who we consider family, as they calmly and courageously helped evacuate the 125 guests in the banquet room, as well as our guests dining with us in the main rooms.
We want to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out with messages, calls, and support. Your kindness means more to us than you know. This restaurant has been part of our family and this community for many years, and seeing how much people truly care touches our hearts.
Right now we are working hard to clean, repair, and get everything back in working order. We are hopeful we’ll be up and running again soon and welcoming everyone back through our doors. We will need your support more now than ever.
Our sincere apologies to our customers who unfortunately had to have their events cancelled and disrupted because of this situation. We know a few of you are willing to wait and schedule in the future and we can’t thank you enough for that. Thank you for standing by us and supporting a small family business that loves this community so much.
